The largest and most diverse island in the Hawaiian Chain, the Big Island contains more land area than all the other Hawaiian Islands put together. Being the youngest Hawaiian Island, the Big Island is still growing with active volcanoes continuing to expand the shoreline with new lava. Over 4,000 square miles of locations rich in geographic and cultural diversity with a multitude of microclimatic zones.
